With professional backgrounds in television and film, co-founders Sarah Nelson and Thomas Huggins join their expertise to bring each client’s unique brand identity and story to life.

Sarah Nelson
Co-Founder, Creative Director
Sarah began her career at the National Geographic Channel where she worked as a Producer on multi platform promotional campaigns for shows like Brain Games, The Incredible Dr. Pol, Taboo, Doomsday Preppers, Border Wars and Drugs Inc.. She then explored documentary filmmaking working for a production company that took her around the country shooting award winning documentaries, including, Life in Synchro and Everyone But Two.
As Partner and Creative Director of Stitch House Studios, she now leads a team of creatives producing original content that grabs viewer’s attention, minds and hearts.
She’s Fiona’s mother, a farm raised, travel enthusiast, bicycling, neat freak, horror movie loving, foodie (except for bananas).
Thomas Huggins
Thomas is our resident MacGyver. His superpower is problem solving and strategy making. As Technical Director of Stitch House Studios, he’s the “how to” part of our team.
Having grown up in the music industry, first his ears were awoken by the creative spark and then his eyes were ignited when a camera fell into his hands. He learned at a young age how sound and images, woven together with craft and thoughtfulness, tell a great story.
The fire to keep learning from childhood has never left him, he has spent his career building on what he knows and taking it to the next level. He’s worked on a long list of award-winning narrative and documentary films and commercial campaigns. He’s a Director of Photography, a Colorist, a sci- fi loving, girl dad and an amazing singer and pianist (which most people don’t even know).
There isn’t an idea too challenging or a problem too daunting so when our clients need custom solutions for complex challenges, they call Thomas.
